| FRIENDS OF THE ANIMALS is a non profit organization
that some animal loving citizens started about a year ago in the fall
of 2000. We came up with a mission statement that also incorporates
the goals we have regarding homeless animals in our local shelter.
These goals a listed here for you... *To greatly reduce the number of animals that are euthanized each year by providing inexpensive of free spay and neuter programs. *To educate our youth and adults about the benefits of spay/neuter programs and shelter adoptions. *To find loving homes for adoptable shelter animals. *To insure that animals are humanely treated and animal cruelty laws are strictly enforced. *To raise funds to insure the success of the above programs. We are now approximately 146 members strong.
