Friends of Animals, Inc.

FRIENDS OF ANIMALS, Inc. is a 501c3, non-profit, all volunteer organization that some animal loving citizens started in Junction City, Kansas in the fall of 2000. Our mission statement incorporates the goals we have regarding homeless animals in the Junction City/Geary County Animal Shelter, Fort Riley and the surrounding areas.

Our goals are listed here for you...

• To educate our youth and adults about the benefits of spay and neuter programs, and shelter adoptions.
• To reduce and eventually eliminate the number of animals that are euthanized each year by providing inexpensive or free spay and neuter programs.
• To find loving homes for adoptable shelter animals.
• To ensure animals are humanely treated and animal cruelty laws are strictly enforced.
• To continually raise funds to ensure the success of the above programs.
